Robert Zinn is President of Akerman Senterfitt and has served in this position since 2006. In that time, Akerman has grown into one of the top 100 law firms in the United States and the largest in Florida. Robert has been a long time member of the firm's Board of Directors, leading the strategic growth and administration of the firm.

Robert joined Akerman in 1996 after a 20 year career in the automotive industry. He served as Chief Operating Officer of the largest General Motors dealer group in the Middle East and has planned, directed and supervised the restructuring and consolidation of automotive dealerships with exemplary results, impacting profitability, customer satisfaction and factory relations. Robert owned and operated a Mazda dealership until it was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and has held several leadership and advisory roles with Aljomaih Automotive Company, Abdulaziz & Mohamed A. Aljomaih Co., Warren Henry Automobiles, Inc, and Craig Zinn Automotive Group, among others.
